Warranty on all products Gentec.nl
The products that Gentec.nl offers are of high quality and therefore, we can 24 months warranty on new products. When the product fails, or is not working properly you will get a new instance offered or your product is being repaired. When such a problem occurs, please always contact the customer service of Gentec.nl preferably via the contact form. When you receive a product that is defective, you can also contact the customer service.


Warranty of our brands.

Each product has a warranty period. This can in some product different. For example, for used aggregates is the warranty different.


HONDA WARRANTY
Whatever the job, your Honda product will continue to work for you season after season. And with the extended warranty, you get even more reliability in the bargain.

2+3 year warranty
Honda products are covered by one of the most comprehensive warranties on the market, covering both manufacturing and material defects. Your dealer must register your warranty card at the time of purchase. This is how the Honda warranty is activated.

To maintain the validity of your warranty (and any extension), your machine must be maintained according to the maintenance schedules in the owner's manual (with all maintenance documented). Have the maintenance carried out by an official Honda dealer and always use genuine Honda parts. For your own safety and for the best performance of the products, we recommend that you read the enclosed owner's manual.

Warranty period for private use:

Petrol generators, 2+3 years

Battery and charger (battery-powered products): 2 years

Starter battery petrol products = 1 year

Warranty period for professional use:

Petrol generators: 2 years

Battery and charger: 1 year

The warranty does not cover wear parts or damage caused by careless use.

Terms and conditions

The following are NOT covered by the Honda warranty:
Damage resulting from failure to perform periodic maintenance (see owner's manual). Damage caused by repairs or maintenance performed by an unauthorized service center. Damage resulting from using the product in a manner other than that prescribed in the owner's manual. Damage resulting from the use of non-original (illegal) parts, non-recommended oils and lubricants, and accessories not approved by Honda. Damage caused by starting the product in violation of the prescribed procedure or incorrect transportation and storage. Damage caused by failure to act as a good householder to keep the product clean and free from corrosive agents, including chemical agents, in accordance with the cleaning instructions in the owner's manual. Damage or wear due to aging (natural fading of painted or metal surfaces, flaking or other natural aging), consumable parts (wear parts). Honda does not cover parts that are worn out due to natural wear.

The following parts are not covered by the warranty unless they are required as part of a warranty repair.

- Spark plugs, fuel filter, oil filter, air filter, tires, wheels, (wheel) bearings, (oil) seals, gaskets, bulbs, thermostat, starter cord, cables, carbon brushes

- Lubricants: oil, grease. Inspection cleaning, adjustment and other periodic maintenance work (cleaning the carburetor, draining the engine oil, belt and cable adjustment). Costs related to the warranty claim, including: compensation for loss of time and travel, commercial losses or rental costs for replacement product and shipping costs. Damage caused by exposure to soot, smoke, chemicals, bird droppings, salt water, sea air, salt or other environmental hazards.
